Directions to M.A.S.T.
From the north:
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 117. Follow Route 36 south. After crossing the Highlands-Sea Bright Bridge, turn left to enter the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Park, and follow the directions "From Park Entrance" below.
From the south:
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 105. Follow the signs for Route 36 North (or East). This will take you through Eatontown and Long Branch. At the intersection with Ocean Avenue in Long Branch turn left. Continue through Sea Bright. Just before the Sea Bright-Highlands Bridge, bear right to enter the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Park, and follow the directions "From Park Entrance" below.
From the Park Entrance:
Head north for approximately 4 miles, following the signs to the Lighthouse and Fort Hancock(you will have the water on your left, there will be two white missles standing up straight ahead, and a road to the right). Once in the Fort Hancock area , bear right on to Magruder Road. You will drive past the James. J. Howard Marines Sciences Laboratory to your right, and then take your second right on to MAST Way. The school's administration building, No. 305, is the last building on the left. Limited parking is available (if no visitor spots are open, turn around and park in the Lighthouse Parking lot to your right as you exit MAST Way). All visitors must check in with the office in the administration building before visiting elsewhere on campus.
